$3/1 Kroger Comforts diaper coupon

Picture 18
The $3/1 Kroger Comforts diaper coupon is back! It's been gone for a little while so I was worried the days of buying diapers for $3.49 per package might be over with.

I have tried these diapers & they aren't my favorite for the price it is worth it to me to buy them. They have a plastic feel unlike the pampers & huggies plus there is a little urine smell. The did contain pretty well so definitely worth using around the house.

Go here to print a coupon for $3/1 package of Kroger Comforts diapers. This coupon can only be printed once per computer. (But for some reason it let me print 2. If you do use 2 you will need to split the transaction to it doesn't beep. Thanks reader Jaclyn for the reminder)

Best Diaper Deal This Week

In case you are needing to buy diapers soon, Walgreens has the best deal this week:

Buy 2 Huggies packs at $9.00 each, get $4 Register Reward back. Use the $2/1 Huggies printable and submit for $.75/1 rebate at Caregivers Marketplace (which HAS updated their form to include the new Huggies packaging. When you factor in the Register Reward, it brings the packs to only $4.25 each!

Just remember, you can't "roll" the Register Rewards into your next purchase of Huggies diapers or it won't produce the Register Rewards for the second transaction. And a Register Rewards acts as a manufacturer coupon, so if you buy two packs of diapers and want to use two Huggies coupons and a past Register Reward you will need to have at least three items you are purchasing. Confusing enough for you? I talk about all of the ins 's outs of Walgreens shopping at my Advanced Couponing Class - you need to come! Contact me to find out more information.

$2 Huggies Coupon - AS MANY AS YOU NEED!

Here is a Huggies coupon for $2.00/1. Looks like this coupon is no more. I hope you saved it to your computer!

It is in PDF form, which means you can save it to your computer and continually print as many as you need. It expires at the end of the year, so if a good sale comes along you will be all set. Woo hoo!!

Thanks Baby Cheapskate!

Watch Out for Diaper Clearances!

Stac left me this comment yesterday, so it may be a little late to bring it to everyone's attention, but I am sure her Smiths store isn't the only one clearancing out old packs of diapers (I scored on Huggies last year when they were clearancing them at Albertsons), so keep your eyes open:

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Smiths at Ann and Camino Al
Norte has 5 shopping carts full of pampers on clearance. I just bought 4 packs
of pampers swaddlers and only spent 20 dollars. The guy told me they had 9
shopping carts full this morning but they are going fast. you have the
coupon you could get even a better deal. They also have pullups and some
huggies. There is a $2/1 coupon for pull ups in the 5/17 smart source so it woud
make them a really good deal too. Go get them now because they are going fast!
Good luck!

UPDATE: CVS Webpage Has Been Changed! No ECB!

The diaper deal I posted about yesterday has been changed. It seems that the webpage I directed you to has been altered and CVS has removed the language promising the $5 ECB when you purchase a pack of Pampers diapers. If you have a print-out of the original webpage you can surely discuss this with your CVS store manager to see if they would still honor it, but there is no way to ask them to enforce the $5 ECB when the webpage has been updated.

Sorry everyone! I hope some of you were able to take advantage.

Run, Do NOT Walk - Pampers at CVS for $3.99!!

I have done the deal successfully!! It IS an unadvertised deal and was NOT ringing up at my store. However, I spoke with the manager before attempting to check out and showed her the printed page with the advertised price and asked if they were honoring it. She told me she had actually talked to corporate about it this morning and they verified that IT WAS TO BE HONORED. So she knew about it, but had to manually override the price and the ECB. It was a bit of a hassle for us both, but I was patient and let others go in front of me who were stacking up in line and kept reminding myself of how much money I was saving!

Remember two things - be patient and stick to your limit of THREE packs. Good luck everybody. Please report back about your experience!

***

OK, people I will go the store today and try this deal and report back, but here is the scoop according to
Common Sense With Money:

There seems to be an unadvertised deal on Pampers at CVS this week. The deal is not advertised on the weekly sales circular but it is advertised on the CVS website. You can see the ad and details on this page right here. As you can see the deal as advertised on the CVS website is pretty awesome: Buy one jumbo pack of Pampers for $8.99 and get $5 Extra Care Bucks Back. Use a $1/1 coupon from the6/7 P&G insert and it’s like paying $2.99 per pack.

I have waited to share this “deal” with you because the deal has not printed the Extra Care bucks for anyone yet. Some stores activate their Sunday sales on Saturday and those people who have tried this have not gotten their ECBs at checkout. Since they brought a print out of what’s advertised on the CVS website, almost always a manager has forced the ECBs to print for them. I have been monitoring this since early this morning and even those with 24-hour store, have not had the ECBs to print.

The deal is advertised on the website though. So, if you would like to take advantage of it, just take a print out of the webpage with you and when the ECBs don’t print make your case to the cashier and manager. Chances are very very good that they will honor it. As far as the limit for this deal, the printed ad advertises a limit of 3 on the price of $8.99 per pack.

Upcoming Diaper Deals

So I have a confession: I am out of diapers. My husband actually asked me "is it 'Sarah'out, where you actually have three boxes in the garage but are freaking out? Or are you 'out-out'?" The nerve of him (but dead-on right!) In fact, I am out-out, and although I have not resorted to paper towels and tape just yet, it inspired to look ahead at the upcoming ads for CVS and Walgreens to see if a stock-up-opportunity is imminent. The sad news everyone - NO. There are no really good sales coming down the pipeline. Here's what I found out:

CVS
Week of 5/24: Mega Huggies, 14.99

Week of 5/31: Jumbo Huggies, 8.99

Walgreens
Week of 5/24: Jumbo Huggies, 9.99

Week of 5/31: Jumbo Walgreens-brand, 5.99

Here are my thoughts: I may head to Walgreens tonight to try and use the $5/$25 coupon(expires today) to get me through a bit. I also was emailed a CVS coupon that expires Sunday, so I think I will head into CVS on Sunday to use this coupon in conjunction with the Mega Huggies (although not awesome, it's something). Honestly, I don't have much beyond that. Does anyone have any other brilliant ideas?

Huggies & Pampers Lowering Diaper Count

Oh NO!! I just heard Huggies & Pampers are lowering the diaper count in their jumbo packs. For Huggies Supreme Size 3 it used to be 35 now it is 31. So basically it is a 9-12% rate hike. Argh!! That being said normally when this happens diapers go on clearance. So grab your coupons & see if you can find any of the old packages. I would stock up because I don't see them lowering price in the meantime.

That being said has anyone had any success using generic diapers or training pants. I have kids in both so I would be curious if you have had something that works well for you.

Best prices I see for diapers this week...

CVS ~ Huggies & Pull-ups $8.99
Walgreens ~ Walgreen's Brand B1G1 Diapers or Training Pants (I have heard these are better than Pull-ups or Easy-Ups. Anyone have a review they would like to share?)

NEW Grocery Smarts Lists are Here!!

Hello readers! I am excited to report (for those that follow Grocery Smarts along with Jennifer and I) that the new lists for Vons and CVS are up and active! Yours truly is doing to Vons list, so always feel free to email me with your fun finds or any deals I didn't spot - AS WELL as post it on the Pinching Your Pennies forum for all others to read. The more we educate each other, the better savvy shoppers will be.

I wanted to share a few of my thoughts on the lists with you if I could and highlight any deals:

  • Walgreens & CVS lists - Now that both the Walgreens and CVS lists are live at Grocery Smarts, I will NOT be doing my usual Walgreens and CVS line-up post every Sunday. If I see any screamin' deals, I will highlight them but I will not be doing a complete coupon match-up.

  • Diaper Deals - For any of you looking for diaper deals, I would head to Vons this week (and the next). When you do the math on buying a box of Huggies with the Living Well promotion and the printable coupon, a size 4 diaper is $.15 and size 3 diapers are $.13. A good price! Some of you may gravitate to Walgreens this week thinking the Register Reward is a good deal. It really isn't. You only get $1 RR per diaper package, so if you do the math the price per diaper is actually better at Vons.

  • Vons Living Well promotion - The Living Well promotion at Vons (Buy $30 select products, Get $10 coupon for your next shopping trip) is running through 5/5. From looking at both the ads and the sale tags at the store, I am under the impression that the sale prices listed in the ad (and reflected on the tags) will run through 5/5 (it says that on the sale tags anyway), so there will be an extra week to take advantage of the sale prices. Check the Vons list at Grocery Smarts on Wednesday to make sure, but I don't anticipate changing too many of the sale prices on the LW items.

To get the best deals during the Vons promotion, 1) try to keep your LW item total as close to $30 as possible. For example, I went the other day and bought 1 box of Huggies, 2 boxes of Electrosol, and a filler item (like Sun Chips) to hit the $30 mark. 2) Then take your $10 coupon and do a second transaction (and a third and so on....) You can roll (it's a fancy coupon term) your coupons into multiple transactions. In my shopping trip, I did a second transaction exactly like the first (box of diapers, 2 boxes of Electrosol, and a filler). Then I did a third transaction, using my $10 coupon to buy other non-LW items (strawberries, toilet paper, etc.) This will save you the most money!

    ALSO
for any of you holding the $2.50 Electrosol coupon in your hand, now is the time to buy. With the sale and coupon, you can get the Electrosol for $.17!!! Make sure to check out the full list, because there are ALOT of 4 and 5-star items as part of the promo.

Happy shopping everybody!!

Huggies Rewards Program

Money Saving Mom posted this new diaper deal to let me know that Huggies has recently begun a Rewards program somewhat similar to the Pampers Gifts-To-Grow Program. Go here to check out their new Enjoy The Ride Rewards program.

At this point, it appears you can only redeem your rewards for Sweepstakes and so forth. However, once you sign up, you can type in this code to get 15 points total in your account: TKHNF-RLPLS-TRPGB.

After doing that, you are able to print a coupon for $2 off any package of diapers and it seems as if this coupon can be printed a unlimited number of times.

Huggies Scenarios at Walgreens

Deal Seeking Mom has some good ideas and scenarios on how to best use your Huggies coupons at Walgreens this week and I wanted to share them with you:

I hope you’ve already printed your $5/1 Huggies coupons, but if not, do that first and then read this post for details on how to get ultra cheap name brand diapers!

Note: The original round of Coupons.com printables were good on any Huggies Gentle Care product, but the new round of coupons are only good on diapers. So pay attention to the wording on your coupons when doing the following transactions to avoid issues with coupons beeping.

DO NOT try to roll your Register Rewards from one Huggies transaction over on another Huggies transaction. A new set of Register Rewards WILL NOT PRINT!

Huggies Diapers and Wipes Deal
Buy (2) Huggies Jumbo Packs, $10 ea.
Buy (1) Huggies Gentle Care Wipes, $6
Use (2) $5/1 Huggies Diaper printables
Use (1) $5/1 Huggies Product printables
Submit Caregivers Marketplace Rebate to get $0.75 MIR per diaper pack
Better than FREE after coupons and RRs!

Huggies Diaper Deal
Buy (3) Huggies Jumbo Packs, $10 ea.
Use (3) $5/1 Huggies Diaper printables
Submit Caregivers Marketplace Rebate to get $0.75 MIR per diaper pack
$2.75 after coupons for 3 packs!!!

Huggies Wipes Deal
Buy (5) Huggies Gentle Care Wipes, $6 ea.
Use (5) $5/1 Huggies Product printables
$5 money-maker after coupons and RRs!

***

And here is a deal I (The Budgeteer) came up with, so that I could try and use some other $1.50 manufacturer coupons for Huggies (so I could get as many diapers and wipes as absolutely possible) AND Register Rewards from previous purchases I have:

Buy (2) Glade Sense and Spray, $7.99 each
Buy (2) packs Huggies diapers, $10 each
Buy (1) pack Huggies Gentle Care Wipes, $6 each
Use Glade BOGO coupon
Use $4 Glade Easy Saver coupon
Use (2) $5/1 Huggies Product printables
Use (1) $1.50 Huggies manufacturer coupon
Use $2 RR from previous purpose
** The Register Reward acts as a manufacturer coupon, so the only way I am able to use it is that I have one product - one Glade Sense and Spray - that DOES NOT have a manufacturer coupon attached to it. **

Total OOP: $12.50 plus tax, Get $10 RR

Diaper Deals & Previews

My friend Jennifer alerted me to this great diaper deal at Diapers.com, going on right now! So if you are like me, and quickly running out of the diapers you stocked up on at the last Albertsons sale this may be something you would like to take advantage of:

  1. You must be a new Diapers.com customer
  2. Order at least $49 worth of diapers at Diapers.com
  3. Use the code SMIL7155 to take $10 off $49 your first diaper order
  4. You will receive free 2-day shipping on $49, no code required
  5. Lastly, you will be able to receive a $14.97 rebate off your first order of $15 or more

So essentially if you order $50 worth, you will be able to take $25 off your order (factoring in your rebate), making the diapers essentially 1/2 price. Jennifer was able to get diapers for as little as $.16 each, which is a great price.

If you don't order any diapers today (perhaps you aren't new to Diapers.com and therefore not able to take advantage of the deal), both CVS and Walgreens will be having diaper sales in the coming weeks (information courtesy of Baby Cheapskate):

  • Spend $20 on Pampers (or other qualifying products) next week (starting 3/1) and get $5 in ECBs at CVS. Jumbo packs will be $10.
  • Buy $25 worth of Huggies or other participating Kimberly Clark products at Walgreens the week of 3/8 and get $10 in Register Rewards! Huggies will be $10.

Sunday, January 11

Diaper Deals - Week of 1/11

If you have been reading this blog at all this week you will know my love for the Pampers deal at Albertsons. So HURRY - this is a smoking hot deal and it ends Tuesday!!! 3 packs of Pampers for $10!!

If your Albertsons is out of the size diapers you need, speak with the manager about the possibility of buying the wrong size then exchanging them later on for the right size, when the store has the right size in stock.

Also, if you need to stock up on any other baby care products, including baby wipes, CVS has their babycare brand on sale, 2/$4. This includes oil, body wash, powder, lotion, shampoo, detangler, and a tub of wipes. Use this $3 any CVS Brand Printable to get these products free plus overage after coupon.

Diaper Deals - Where are you??

Anybody else frustrated with lack of outstanding deals on diapers these days? It seems that giving us a "sale" price of $9 will appease. I say nay sir! Nine dollars?! Where's my free diapers at Walgreens? Where is my "spend $20 get $5 ECB" at CVS? Oh how I miss you dear friends?

I have looked at the Walgreens ads through the end of the month, and name brand diapers won't be going below $9.99. This week they do have their store brand diapers on sale for $5.99.

I also took a look at next week's CVS ad and they are still devoid of any great diaper deals. I hear tell that Huggies should be releasing some new coupons in the Sunday paper the middle of this month, so keep your eyes open.

As for this week's best prices on diapers:

Target has Pampers for $9, while both CVS and Walgreens have either Huggies or Pampers at $9.99. Like I said, these aren't really "deals".
