Oh NO!! I just heard Huggies & Pampers are lowering the diaper count in their jumbo packs. For Huggies Supreme Size 3 it used to be 35 now it is 31. So basically it is a 9-12% rate hike. Argh!! That being said normally when this happens diapers go on clearance. So grab your coupons & see if you can find any of the old packages. I would stock up because I don't see them lowering price in the meantime.
That being said has anyone had any success using generic diapers or training pants. I have kids in both so I would be curious if you have had something that works well for you.
Best prices I see for diapers this week...
CVS ~ Huggies & Pull-ups $8.99
Walgreens ~ Walgreen's Brand B1G1 Diapers or Training Pants (I have heard these are better than Pull-ups or Easy-Ups. Anyone have a review they would like to share?)
Target ~ Clearance Prices ~ Scan to see...

The Wal-Greens brands are my favorite diapers! We also like the CVS brand training pants. They don't have the rippable sides like the Huggies and Pampers, but they fit and stay on much better (at least for our skinny kid!).
I just got 2 bags of the WAGS Premium diapers for my toddler in size 6 and I have to say I am honestly impressed with how well they are standing up. She has been in them for the last 4 days and we have not had one leak or blow out. They are more 'plastic-y' but it's not a deal breaker. I'd buy them again. It's still cheaper(at the moment) to buy a huggies jumbo at walmart with a $1.50 off coupon. If i could get my hands on a $2 off WAGS diaper coupon I would stock up like it's no ones business.
I went and bought the Walgreen's brand this week to try them, and I ended up going back and buying 8 more bags. These are very thick diapers and I really like them. The only drawback might be that they get heavy and sag a little, they also have the generic smell when your kids pee's, but I don't mind any of that because with the BOGO price size four diapers ended up only costing me $0.12 a piece, and that's worth it.
