I just went to Albertsons and bought $99 worth of groceries for $16! I am now all stocked up on popcorn, pasta, and Splenda. Extra Coupons for ConAgra Promo at Albertsons

If any of you get All You magazine (and if you don't you should - see my left sidebar to order; you can pick up a copy at Wal-Mart) make sure to take note of the ConAgra coupons inside the September issue (I received mine today). There is a tear-out portion that has several coupons you will be able to use with the ConAgra promotion at Albertsons, namely Ro-Tel, Manwich and Hunt's ketchup ($1 off 2, which makes it only $.10 per bottle!!). So make sure to check them out!

Some More Deals Around Town

Vons
Next time you pop into Vons, make sure to keep your eyes open for a MDA booklet at the checkout. It is full of manufacturer coupons that you will be able to use at Vons or any other store. Goody!

Also, if you are going to be using any of the "in-store" coupons this week, take a second look at the Bounce bar. Priced at $3.99, you can use the $1 coupon AND a $1 e-coupon from P&G e-Saver, making it under $2. I think I may want to try this new product; I have heard you just leave it in your dryer and don't have to remember to use sheets or liquid softener. I like the thought of one less thing I have to remember.

Albertsons
Barilla Pasta is on sale this week for $.99. There was a $.50 coupon in this Sunday's paper (8/23) for both the Whole Grain version and the Piccolini version, which are both pictrued om tje ad. This would make the pasta $.49! There was also a $.75 coupon for the Pasta Plus version, but I am not sure this is included in the $.99 sale - but I am going to take that coupon with me to the store just in case!

Hidden Post Cereal Deal at Albertsons!

A fellow Grocery Smarts instructor, Lisa, got a tip from one of her readers about a hidden deal on Post cereal this week at Albertsons, making the cereal almost free! Check out her post over at her blog Shop Smart and Save.

Reader Lisa had this breakdown (thanks for doing the math Lisa; math is not by strongest suit) :

Each box is $1.57 each, you save $1.10 when you buy 2 boxes and then in addition if you buy 6 boxes in one transaction a $5 print out comes with your receipt. Even without the coupons you will pay $6.12 out of pocket with a $5 print out for your next purchase making them $.18 per box.

So I noticed a fun promotional overlap today with Kellogg's Frosted Flakes. During the Albertson's Eight Hour Sale you can pick up Kellogg's Frosted Flakes (as well as other Kellogg's cereals) for $1.50.

Then, Coupons.com just released a coupon $1/2 Frosted Flakes coupon.

Finally, you can score a free soccer ball courtesy of Kellogg's just by sending in 5 UPCs from any size Kellogg's Frosted Flakes.
