A great find, courtesy of reader Lizzie:
All babies can now receive a free eye exam in their first year of life, thanks to a new program called InfantSEE. The American Optometric Association created InfantSEE because visual development is most dramatic between 6 and 12 months, and ocular conditions like amblyopia (lazy eye) have a much better prognosis when diagnosed early.
To find a participating optometrist near you, call 888-396-3937 toll free or go to InfantSEE.org
