I want to do the Dove deal but is there coupons involved?

I have been visiting up to three stores a week to get the best grocery deals. I am told that Walmart honors all store adds, and to just go there for everything. Is this true? And how do they honor adds if it is Kroger, or Albertson brand?
There is no coupon involved, the hard part is trying to find enough single bars on the shelf.
