Budgeteer reader Alisa sent me this great idea:Home Depot has FREE kid workshops on the first Saturday of each month. I called them and asked if you need to sign up ahead of time and they said no. It's from 9-12 (I think you can show up anytime between). It's for ages 5-12. This Saturday they are doing a car ramp and next month they are doing a bird house. Make sure to call your own Home Depot store to confirm.
