Camille tipped me off to take a closer look at the bottom of page 4 of this week's Vons ad:

And yes, TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! It seems the ad was meant for the Los Angeles area and they ARE NOT DOUBLING COUPONS IN LAS VEGAS. I spoke to my store manager Dave (poor guy has only been on the job two weeks!) and asked it they would be honoring the typo. He said "no", that signs are in place at the stores right now which will tell you they will not honor double coupons.
Sorry ladies!! But shop Von's this week anyway; they have some great deals on essentials which combined with the $10/$50 coupon on the front page make for some sweet deals!

GRRR! I think it is time for Las Vegas shoppers to contact the Safeway corp and find why they are not doubling coupons in Vegas when they do it in LA! No Red Plum, no P&G, and no double coupons. I just don't get it.
