In my SS 12/14 I have .55 off two Mentos. Did you get $1/1?

Lindsey, I too got the $.55/2 coupon for Mentos. When I make the list I pull from other bloggers, and different parts of the country get different value coupons (not fair is it?) I have made the change to reflect the coupon we have in our stash. Thanks for the correction!

Laura, I posted my CVS scenario in the Reader Comments/Questions section. Hope this helps!

It sounds great!! Thank you. Way above my head so I am going to print your scenario and take it with me. I only have one head and shoulders coupon but everything else sounds good.

Okay so here i am again looking for the Schick razor coupon. I am not finding it in the SS 1/25. I very well could be losing my mind this week so im sure it's just me. I even tried finding it on Grocery Smarts in the Alphabetical index. Oh please help!

Can't wait to get to CVS. Hope they aren't out of everything! Thanks for the info.

Update: No such thing as Pepsi coupons!! Everyone has looked for me.

Wow, CVS must be busy this week thanks to all of you getting out and shopping!

Alisa, you are NOT crazy! I too just double-checked against the Grocery Smarts Alphabetical list (and my own collection) and there is no Schick razor coupon. As I mentioned earlier, I pull from other bloggers across the country and coupons are different in different parts of the country. I WILL do better at double-checking against our own coupon index before posting.

Laura, I too haven't found any Pepsi coupons. Bummer! That's why I am so excited for the free Diet Dr. Pepper I posted about this week.

OK, Laura I am going to move this scenario here:

I would buy my Pepsi products first, to have the most ECB to roll into other transactions. So you will be $20 OOP up front, but then have $10 ECB to use on the other transactions. For my second transaction I would buy one Schick razor and one Head and Shoulders. You will hand over your two coupons and $10 ECB. You will pay about $2 OOP and get $7 ECB back. Third transaction I would buy two Sure deodorants and another Heads and Shoulders and one more product to bring your cost up by $1 (because right now you only will be paying $6 and you have $7 ECB). You will hand over your coupons and $7 ECB, getting another $3 ECB to use at another time.

Total OOP - about $23

Received - 2 deodorants, 2 shampoos, lots of Pepsi, a great razor, $3 ECB to use another time, and a $15 mail in rebate!

So if you count the rebate and ECB, you only pay $5.

Sorry Sarah, maybe I should be more clear. I understood your scenario, its just I can't organize it (to maximize my ECB). Thats why The Budgeteer must go on FOREVER!

PS I am going to do the mail in rebate for Pepsi. Yeah!!!
