Nothing blew me away this week at the grocery stores, but here are the highlights:

Skirt steak - $5.49/pound
If skirt steak or flank steak is less than $6/pound I think it is a good deal.

Frozen pizza sale - Buy $20 worth, save an extra $5 instantly
* Freschetta - 4/$20 (which would make it 4/$15)
* Red Baron - 5/$20 (which would make it 5/$15, $3 each)
* Tony's - 8/$20 (which would make it 8/$15, less than $2 per pizza)

A pretty standard sale price for chicken pieces

Broccoli crowns - $.69/pound

Green seedless grapes - $.88/pound

Bananas - $.59/pound
Normally these run$.69/pound so the saving isn't high but I thought I would point it out.

I have decided that I don't pay more than $.50/box of cereal, but this isn't too bad of a deal, especially if you like (or your kids like) the sugary stuff better.
