Summer Clearance

As you head out to the stores, keep your eyes open for summer clearance deals. Last week one reader reported being at Walgreens on Centennial and Ann Rd. and they had an entire aisle 90% off. It's a lot of school supplies (including CUTE backpacks for $1.59) and summer stuff with some miscellaneous stuff mixed in as well.

I have noticed these aisles popping up all over, especially the drugstores like Walgreen and CVS. I am keeping my eyes open for bubble juice and sidewalk chalk for next summer fun. Some of the items I have seen have tags that say both 50% and 90%, so I am never sure. My advice is to price check them at a self-scanner (if the store has them) before getting to the check-out. Save yourself some time and trouble.
